We have no idea when Realme will launch the Realme X2 Pro but the hardware specifics that the company is dropping on a regular basis now should have you pumped – that's a given. Realme has already confirmed that the Realme X2 Pro will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855+ processor and it will have a 90Hz display like the recently launched OnePlus 7T. Realme has also confirmed that the Realme X2 Pro will come with a 64MP quad rear camera setup and support 50W fast charging. Now it has revealed that the Realme X2 Pro will come with dual stereo speakers and Dolby Atmos.
Dolby Atmos isn’t new for a Realme phone. The Realme X came with Dolby Atmos. But then it was limited through wired headphones. The Realme X2 Pro will bring Dolby Atmos to the speakers – which is a first for any Realme phone. Not to mention, this will the first time for any Realme phone to come with dual stereo speakers. Both these features should make the Realme X2 Pro a compelling multimedia consumption device, especially when coupled with the phone’s 90Hz refresh rate display.
Although a tentative timeline of launch hasn’t been announced, chances are Realme will launch the Realme X2 Pro in China first – much like the Realme X2. The Realme X2 Pro seems to be a Pro version of the Realme X2 which was recently launched in China. The Realme X2 is basically the Realme XT with a faster processor inside as well as faster charging. There’s also an upgraded 32MP selfie camera on the Realme X2. Realme is expected to launch the Realme X2 in India as the Realme XT 730G in December.
The way that the Realme X2 Pro is shaping, it looks like Realme is prepping a full-on flagship to take on the likes of the Redmi K20 Pro and OnePlus 7T. And looks like, in some areas, the Realme X2 Pro will be better stashed than any of these two competing phones. We’re talking about the camears. As far as the hardware goes, the Realme X2 Pro is set to get a 64MP quad camera setup on the rear like the Realme XT, only Realme will be swapping the macro lens with a dedicated telephoto lens in its soon-to-launch flagship.
